Tennis coaching

in school

We have close relationships with several schools in Wiltshire. These provide a link to the relevant local tennis clubs. We are available to do sessions during PPA time or as part of the schools extra curricular activities. See below some of the schools we currently work with. Our intention is focused on the children’s enjoyment and development within the game of tennis.

If any schools wish for us get involved with any Sports Day Activities, Coaching during school time, extra curricular sessions and so on please do contact us for further information on our availability and prices.

Ramsbury Primary School
Currently Tennis Xperience UK undertakes tennis coaching at Ramsbury Junior School in the Summer terms. This takes place on Thursdays 13.00 - 15.00pm, the first hour being for one year group and the second hour for the other and is during PPA time. Each half term we teach two year groups so in each term four year groups have tennis coaching. Lessons consist of a combination of co-ordination, agility, fitness exercises and learning to play tennis using Mini Tennis nets. Those who wish to progress further and play more have the option of joining in our club programme – as several have done already. It is also a great way for us to seek any potential players for the future.

Ramsbury Tennis Club partly fund these sessions.

Chilton Foliat CE VA Primary School
"As a governor at Chilton Foliat Primary School I fully appreciated the opportunity afforded the children that took part in the tennis club last term, and as a parent can vouch for the enjoyment and benefits to each individual. The children all participated enthusiastically and really warmed to Lewis' friendly approach and expert tuition. I would very much hope we are able to secure Lewis' services for other sessions here in Chilton Foliat."

Pinewood School, Bourton
We have a strong link with the Director of Sport at Pinewood School which has created the opportunity for us to deliver specialist coaching to Pinewood children each week beyond their normal busy Games Programme. Currently Lewis delivers the tennis sessions on Thursdays at 3.10-4.10pm. Several juniors are actively involved in our coaching Programme at Ramsbury Tennis Club.

Great Bedwyn CofE Primary School
Catherine and Lewis, of Tennis Xperience UK, visit Great Bedwyn school weekly to give children the opportunity to play and practice their tennis skills.

The great lessons involve coaching and time to play games with school friends. Their enthusiasm has inspired many children to play, learn as well as enjoy tennis more frequently.

Mary Hare School
National Grammar School for the Deaf

At lunchtime we do Individuals as well as Group lessons for those who show promise and wish to improve their tennis to a higher level. We also do lessons before and after lunch for those who are in Year 12 or 13 during their free periods. As we are part of and represent the Great Britain Deaf Tennis Squad ourselves, we are keen to offer our services to those who can potentially be the future of Deaf tennis!
