Great Bedwyn Tennis Club

Club information

Great Bedwyn is a village close to both Marlborough in Wiltshire and Hungerford in Berkshire. There has been a tennis club in the village for over 30 years and it forms a central part of the recreation facilities within the village – there is a football pitch, bowling green and large children’s play area adjacent to the tennis club.

The tennis club is run by a small team of volunteers and currently has 150 playing members. There are two Macadam courts, both of which are floodlit. There is a small pavilion with a kitchen and changing area/toilets for players. The club has Men’s, Ladies and Mixed teams which play in the local league. There are also opportunities for regular social tennis.

Lewis and Catherine joined Great Bedwyn Tennis Club as coaches in 2006 and the coaching Programme for juniors and adults has grown significantly since then. Please see the timetable for further details.

The Club Secretary is Rachel Bond and she can be contacted at bond.rachel@btinternet.com
